Leopard, but worked the way you would actually wear it. The spots are massed into broad vertical bands that run the length of the scarf, with plainer cloth left between them, so the pattern is held in columns instead of covering the whole surface.
The spots sit in the same tone as the ground rather than in a contrasting colour. That is what keeps it from reading as a loud animal print: the leopard appears where the light catches the cloth and the folds open, and settles back into texture when it does not.
A deep red toned ground gives the bands enough contrast to be seen without letting the pattern take over, so the colour stays the first thing anyone notices.
