A knit scarf with fine metallic stripes running through it, worked into the knit rather than printed on top, so the shimmer holds up to wear and stays soft against the skin.
The two faces are not the same. One side carries the metallic stripe, the other is plain, so you can wear the same scarf two ways: stripe out for an occasion, plain for an ordinary day, and the shimmer still shows wherever the fabric folds back on itself.
